This situation has created so much fear and anxiety. There is a solid reason for the fears and anxieties, considering the speed of the spread. Each of us is manifesting fears in different ways. No one is above it. I see the empty shelves in grocery stores, especially in some aisles. What does fear do? Make us think, “What will happen to me? How can I protect myself?”

We become so self-absorbed that we don’t look around to see what is happening to others. Is it not compassion to step back and think, “if I take all the products off the shelves, am I depriving others who may need the same products, some more than I do?” To me, that takes courage. There is no better way to overcome fear than to show compassion. Best wishes to all.
